Not quite. It is already running smoothly on computers which exist now.
This is quite a different situation than with GP2, where there were no
computers in 1996 which could run it at full detail in SVGA. OK, maybe it
needs a PIII-800 and GeForce to do it (I doubt it) but it's not so far out
of reach.
