Does it really matter which car you drive in World Circuit? I mean, does
the game know the difference between the different chassis and engines?

In the base game all player controlled cars are set the same.  with the
aftermarket performance editors you can adjust the HP of your and all
other cars.  you can also adjust the cornering speed of the AI cars.  I m
not sure where you can get the editor but its around somewhere.  I got
mine from AOL.

The editor I have was a gift from someone. Since then I have noticed that
there are several versions of editors  available at FTP didnt.doit.wisc.edu

Look in the directory f1gp/editors

Good luck,

You can get a computer-car editor (which can also alter the player's
BHP) from didnt.doit.wisc.edu in the directory
/publicfiles/racing/f1gp/editors called gped20.zip (this requires
windows) or f1ed21.zip (which is DOS based but not quite as good).

Kudos to Peter Burke for his sterling job running this site.

What ever car you drive it will always have the same power rating (ie 716).
This may be changed in some editors, and F1GP-Ed will even allow you to
inherit the teams performance.
