Where Can I Buy Quality Potentiometers For Homebuilt Wheel?

Hi!
Usually a good source for anything in the way of electronic parts can be found by
contacting your local ham radio guys. Maybe they have a newsgroup? Also try
contacting the American Radio Relay League (ARRL)  (I think that's the name).
Good luck.

Joe.

I'm in the process of building my own steering wheel and pedal system.  I'm
looking for a mail order source where I can purchase high quality
potentiometers for the wheel and pedals.  I'm looking for potentiometers that
are better than the ones I can buy at my local Radio Shack for $1.49 each.

Will also welcome any hints, suggestions or opinions related to building my
own wheel system.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Why not just contact Thrustmaster?  They offer a rebuild kit for the T2, Which
includes Pots', Springs, Bungie, etc....  all for around $14.00.  I realise
you're building you own wheel but You can always use these parts for your
wheel.  I wouldn't think you would actually have to own a T2 to buy the kit
from them , How are they gonna know anyway.  If I'm not mistaken you'll get 3
pots' in this kit and that should get you going. I'm not sure of their Customer
support number but their website is-
www.thrustmaster.com

Hope this helps
