Sega Rally control problem fixed?

Does anyone know if the control problem from the Sega Rally demo has been
fixed in the real version?  I thought the joystick was too sensitive in the
demo.

        Aside from that, is the game good?  I'm thinking of getting this or RAC
Rally Championship, which one is better?
