Pro Digital II - 2 or 3 axis?

by Brian McLerno » Sat, 20 Oct 2001 11:46:25

My terrific wife got me Thrustmaster Pro Digital II wheel for my birthday
(how'd she know? hee, hee <G>)  My question for the r.a.s. collective is
which way should I set it up, 2 or 3 axis?  I've read before in ras not to
even bother with the Thrustmapper software and right now it works far better
at 2 axis than my old Pro Digital at 3.  Your comments greatly appreciated!

I have mine setup for 3 axis in w98se, I deleted the thrustmapper software
while trying to get a game to work properly.  When the computer restarted it
found the TM pro2 and I have 3 axis now without the software.  I'll probably
put the software back anyway.  You can adjust the brake's to be more gradual
etc.  Less lock ups in GPL.  Use 3 axis is what I;m trying to say!  lol.
Mice wheel for the money.

Use the three axis. Be sure to go to the Thrustmaster site under the
motorsports link and get the update to the Thrustmapper software. It fixes a
lot of issues with the proggy and since I've had it (the new proggy) I've
had no problems.
