GP2 rookie to amateur help

Hi all,
I just won my 1st championship season in rookie mode and moved up to
amateur mode.  Of course, now my lap times are about 2 sec slower than
the rest of the field so I need to figure out where I can make improvements!
I've always run a T2 with steering help & opposite lock help on, default car
setups, and driving aids F5/F6/F7.  I did some practice laps at Monza (my
favourite test track) using a setup I found on the net and knocked 2.5 secs
off my best :)

My question is, will turning off steering help & opposite lock help allow
me to improve my lap times further? ...and why?  Can anyone make recommendations for a combination of maximum lock/reduce with car speed/low sensitivity zone settings for use with a T2?

Thanks!

If I remember well, the CCs are not so strong at Amateur level and
learning the track should be enough!  No joke.  Also, just play a little
bit with the wings.  On a slow circuit, put the rear wing high, etc.
