  From what I understand ----

Nascar Supertruck series will be another addition to Nascar 2,
n\much the same way Busch Grand National was

Nascar 1999 will have updates to all tracks to the present state,
plus several new ones not found in Nascar 2 and BGN as well as add the
Nascar Truck Series to it.

At least THAT is what I understand it to mean from the information i
get from Cendant Software about new products released and nearly
released.

I am sure there is someone out there that has more info than I
------ but at least this is a start

Yes.. in a certain way.. Nascar Supertruck doesn't exist. It's 1 piece of
software called Nascar Racing 2 - 1999 Edition.  It includes 34 track of the
Winstoncup, Busch Grand National and Craftman Supertruck series (the 3
important Nascar series around the US).  You also get a brand new truck
racing physics, updates to all the new configuration (Atlanta, Sears Point,
etc...), a real 3dfx rasterizer, double-file restarts, mid-race caution in
truck racing, etc...

The temptative release date is now near the start of December ;)

Oh and you will also find on the CD-Rom a multiplayer-only version of Nascar
Racing 2 for people who would want to try the NROS.

But one question- is it still Dos, or Win32 native?

It has both DOS and win95 executables.

I saw the title today in Richmond, VA at Comp USA.  It caught my eye because it
was packaged quite differently from the Nascar2 50th anniversary packaging.  As
I recall, it was priced at $34.99 -- but with some sort of trade-in or rebate
deal that would reduce that to $0.00.

Does this set of titles, spin-offs, add-ons in Papyrus' Nascar platform confuse
others, or is it just me?

Nascar Racing 2 1999 will be Win 32...at least that is what the Sierra
website says.  There is a little confusion going around about the
Super Trucks.  They are also releasing a Craftsman Truck Series Screen
Saver 1999 which EB has on their website.  People are confusing N2
1999 with what EB calls "SS - Nascar Craftsman Trucks 1999".
