Installed everything, started it up and I get the blue screen telling
me it's shutting down so it doesn't damage the computer.
I installed the update patch, tried both OpenGL and DirectX D3D,
compressed and uncompressed the N2003 folder.
I'm using win XP Pro, NTFS with an ATI Radeon 9200.
Any suggestions?

Your tips helped. thanks.
(BTW, NR2003 *is* available for MacOS X (=BSD Unix) but you need a heavy
cpu to run it.)
