Daniel,
The AWE 64 card does work in DOS with GP2. Make sure you have the following
entries in your files. Your exact values may be different than mine.
AUTOEXEC.BAT
SET SOUND=C:\PROGRA~1\CREATIVE\CTSND
SET MIDI=SYNTH:1 MAP:E MODE:0
SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 H5 P330 E620 T6
CONFIG.SYS
DEVICE=C:\PROGRA~1\CREATIVE\CTSND\DRV\CTSB16.SYS /UNIT=0 /WIN95 /BLASTER=A:220
I:5 D:1 H:5
DEVICE=C:\PROGRA~1\CREATIVE\CTSND\DRV\CTMMSYS.SYS
DOSSTART.BAT
C:\WINDOWS\CTCM
Once you have the proper path statements in each file, you should hear sound.
You may have to run the GP2 setup program again to get it to detect and
configure. Good luck!
