Speaking of which, we still don't see Eldred at GPLRank. I'm VERY
curious, especially after seeing his decent Spa lap. He probably
doesn't want to mess with his hard earned reputation as one of the
slowest guys around. Eldred...Oh Eldred

I'm betting he is like me...aside from slower than molasses...I
haven't run all the tracks with my current driver name.  What is his
last name again...sorry mind fade here.  When we did our Slugs at the
Ring event, his driver name was epickens   or whatever the heck his name
is..(sorry Eldred..;>  )

Nine *seconds*??? You mean 9', surely (I hope!)

You're certainly not. Lots of people, me included, hate Mexico with a
passion. It's horrible, horrible, horrible. There's one nice corner and
one fast straight and the rest is a chore. Ugh.

Dave, I swear, Eldred WAS on the list last Saturday, when I first signed in.
But now he's gone.

He's an international man of mystery, too.

Eldred's out of town this week.  He'll probably surface this weekend.  He's
still letting real life interfere with his racing. :(

Hey? David, could you tell me which one is the nice corner in Mexico? I
certainly don't remember any of them being nice... ;)
This must be the same thing as in Monaco: all the corners want to wipe me
out of the track! <G>

A word from your master statistician: We are over 400
registered users right now, after a mere week of going
"official" after a leaked beta tester. ;-)

I managed to beat my previous PB at the ring by 6 secs just to
get up in my buddy rankings (mostly comprised of my league
fellows).

LOL!!! Posts like this are making it all worth while... St.
Eldred of the Holy Snail ;-) Has he even registered yet? I
think I should check out that search feature I added a couple
of days ago ;-)

The Peraltada, the banked hairpin before the pit straight.

I know the feeling. I once did a 1:28 at Monaco, but only by bouncing
off every bit of Armco in the place. If I ever try that in a race, I
won't make the second lap...

Nice to know I'm not alone. I do remember that the old Mexico GP (early
60's) was even worse and widely hated by the drivers. Just an airfield with
some straw bales and very bumpy, not to mention that the engines couldn't
cope with the altitude.

Tony Whitley
BTW I posted my nine second lap on alt-binaries.simulators.autos ;-)
Actually, that's how long many of them last - down to the first corner and
straight into the barrier.

Hey Eldred, no offense! I was just mocking about. Unless your
name is Huttu there's bound to be someone faster. ;-)

Cheers,
