I realize it is a free sight and that people get busy, but i was just wondering
what was up with IWCCCARS. the N2 starting grid hasn't been updated since
Bristol. maybe it just seems like a long time to me because i check the site
 each day.

Actually, I have been a bit disappointed with IWCCCARS lately as well. It
used to be you could go there a day or two after a race and they would have
changes and updates for any cars that had run new paint jobs, as well as a
few improved jobs on a week to week basis. Looks like the new contingency
running the place there does not have the same dedication that used to
exist. I find myself going more to Chris Fredericks' site when I want an
updated car (I'm weirdly fanatic about trying to keep the cars current).

Chris' site: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/cfrederick/racing.htm

I guess Chris' site would not help you with the Starting Grid files but he
does have other files for "truer to reality" race grids.

Unfortunately, not everyone can be Tony Johns. ;)

While many of the (unpaid) "staff" is still the same core group as when
Tony ran the show, a good number of members, for a variety of reasons
(personal, professional, and otherwise), have simply not been able to
put in the desired time.  Dedication is NOT the issue.

>Unfortunately, not everyone can be Tony Johns. ;)

Ain't that the truth! ;)

I think Pat Campbell put it best: These guys have chosen to share their
hobby with you. This isn't something they do for fame and fortune - there
are fees and there are no ads on the site - they aren't making a dime off
this thing. They do it because they love the sport, and somehow they got
the crazy idea that other people might enjoy their work. For free. If that
isn't good enough for you, there are plenty of other places to download
cars.
