Nascar2 Yamaha sound

I recently purchased a Toshiba 200 mmx computer. It has a Yamaha SB
compatible sound card. The sound in Nascar2 comes out very muffled
even with the volume all the way up.
It's configured with the standard Sound Blaster settings 220 I5 and D1

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Check the spotter volume level in NASCAR 2.  When you move the slider to
more than 50% of spotter level, it begins to diminish all other sounds
accordingly.  If you reduce spotter audio to below 50%, the other sounds
will play back at their set levels.

God Bless,
Steve

Thanks for the reply, but sierra tech support solved the problem for
me. For others that have a Toshiba, set the sound card to Microsoft
sound card, 530, none,1
Works in dos.
