I remember reading here a while back that there was a program out
there somewhere that would allow you to assign certain game commands
to buttons on your steering wheel.  Can somebody give me a link to
this program, or atleast give me some feedback on it?  Thanks in
advance!

It's called Rbjoy. It works for joystick port connections only (not USB).
