Hello,
I was wondering how this patch and league were.  Im a GPL racer but i was
thinking of trying out nascar 2 and the touring car patch seemed pretty
cool.  I saw stuff about grip changed so maybe it would handle more like a
touring car than a nascar.  How are the tracks?  Is it all close
competition? I read about the AI upgrade to more aggression and all.  Do the
setups make you go a lot faster or is it mostly driver skill?  I would like
to check it out but want to know how much it will be worth it.  I always
wanted a decent touring car game and i really think toca isnt on par.  Also
one last thing, how big is the download for the patch?

Hey Mr. Black,

How's the game? Well I use it with N2 (hardly any more due to GPL, you
know) and I liked it. It sounded and looked different. But in reality,
it didn't FEEL that much different. They say it handles like a lighter
car... well I don't think so. And it still BRAKES like a stocker... in
other words, the brakes suck. (almost as bad as the Brabham's :-))

As for the setups, it's N2, so it's a real sim. And driver, yeah, still
counts.

The AI aggression, yeah, that is really good. The best apart from GPL.
Really aggressive and willing to lay a fender on you anytime. They did
nice work by tuning that up.

Download size? See the site. I think it's about 2 MB or so. Not bad.

It's my second favorite next to GPL.

The tracks are some N2 tracks, some ICR2 tracks and some new ones. But
with a little skill (reading the N2 FAQ on the pits) you can make it
anyway you want it.

well it's not GPL but it's a dang site better than most sims out there.
New sounds, new screens, new body shapes, more utils than you can shake a
stick at...(michelin tires, new wheels, right hand drive***pits, etc etc.)
It doesn't have GPL's online abilities but with kali or any similar ipx
setup you can run multiplayer.  The league is offline and if you give the AI
any sort of opening, they'll either pass ya or punt ya.
