I experienced more failures after upgrading to OE 6, in spite of my other
post that made it through.

I finally came across something on Google that described a similar problem
to what I was having, and it said to set max MTU to 1492 if you are on
PPPoE, which I am.

So I set it to that on my BEFSR41 and VOILA, everything seems to be working.
