I remember seeing some sort of large flight simulator contraption on ZDTV's
Fresh Gear show once, which the host said " made him feel nauseated ".
But I have never heard of any commercial device for racing which did much more
than place a speaker or low frequency transducer into a seat. Couldn't they
place some sort of simple hydraulic or electro-mechanical device uder a seat
that would allow it to pivot just a bit in response to virtual G-forces in the
racing sim. Or maybe a simpler and cheaper device could be made of fairly small
air bladders placed in the cushion of the chair, which would tilt the cushion
an inch or so forward backwards left or right, by pumping air into them or
sqeezing them incrementally .
