full details and if you own Voodoo 5 put FSAA 2x on. It looks
photorealistic.

No computer hardware is worth the money. You have to decide if you
want it bad enough or not is all.

Never argue with an idiot. He brings you down to his level, then beats you
with experience...

It seems strange to me the negative posts about the graphics in GP3, which
lead me to two possible conclusions.
1. Graphics cards: The Voodoo5 with FSAA maybe THE card for GP3. Looks
great, runs quick. Not tried it without FSAA so perhaps I should give this a
go. The rain & spray are particularly good. There is a slight "wobble" in
the graphics on the start line which give a bad impression but this
disappears on the move. Now maybe other cards (esp Geforce) are not giving
the quality of graphics & performance with GP3. I have not seen the
pixellation referred to on this newsgroup.
2. Rendering: GP3 does not use the super smooth style of blending and
impression of blurring that other products like F12000 and SBK2000 use. It
has a more "raw" style. Which I prefer - some don't. It reminds me of RC2000
in many ways, though the car images are better in RC2000. It is very
subjective. No doubt someone will explain the technicalities of my
comments - but simply put - it looks good to me.
Incidentally I find the maximum feld of view (145) looks much better, and
the "driving position" becomes more akin to GPL. Somehow this does wonders
for the look.
All IMHO of course
