Has anyone figured out a way to achieve the following - either

(a) Delete all the real driver records that are present as defaults in
the game so that when I get a personal record it shows up on the records
screen

OR

(b)amend all the real driver records so that they are much slower - then
as I race each track it will record my times as records instead of the
real F1 aces.

OR
(c)save my records in conjunction with the real ones

I know that I will never beat the real guys records, and they are printed
for reference in the technical supplement anyway - I just want to know
how I'm going without having to write on a s***of paper

I don't know how to do this, but you can go at least 5 seconds quicker than
the "real" lap times. Even the rookie computer cars beat these times as I
recall. So I don't see your problem!

Our "problem" Patrick is that we are driving without the assistance of
the keyboard, steering help, lock damper etc and all those aids you have
selected turned on. <G>

Yes, get http://www.utu.fi/~snurmela/gp2util2.zip. There is a
track record printer and an utility to reset any/all track
records to 3.00.000.

These are not masterpieces of programming, but they work (I
hope).

If I have time to build more similar stuff, or update the
existing ones, I'll put them in
