Soli Rock Racing League is looking for 10 - 15 drivers.
Sat nights
open setup
40% length

Constant, RANDOM weather(weather settings are sent in the race notes each
week)
Dedicated T1 Server
We enjoy minimal yellows, that bring in pit strategy, tire wear, etc, As you
know, this really opens the field for some great sim racing

SRRL was founded by Christians for everyone. With a small roster, we enjoy
freedom from many league rules, and mainly let the game itself police the
racing. We have prerace chat and fellowship, followed by a group prayer b4
heading to the track. The prerace fellowship is not mandatory, but we do
like as many of our drivers as possible to join us.

If your interested, drop by our website and fill out the sign up form.

cya on the track

hmm

not sure what constitutes being dubbed a "wacko"

But I am not religous

I am however a believer in Christ, dose this make me better,NO, actually in
my mind worse by secular standards, I can not manage, live, and cope with
life without Jesus. You on the other hand appear to be OK without Him. I
force my beliefs on nobody, and only share them when asked.

ANd I cant speak for your "wacko's",lol, but there are Christians
everywhere. And like any breathing human, they like me, make blunders, say
stupid things, wrong decisions etc.

I race and have raced with people whoi do not share my beliefs for years,
and have to say none of them, and I did say years right, hehe, have never
branded me a wacko, well till you.

But we dont race together, I dont think :-)

What's wrong?  I may be an atheist, but I don't see anything wrong with someone
having a Christian racing league.  It's just a group of like-minded indivuals
who want to race together.
I'm impressed with their conviction to state it publically in the face of
small-minded comments like yours...

Fair enough, I deserved that, Eldred ; )  I just don't see any connection
between sim racing and religion.  I feel sorry for people who can't even
participate in sport without dragging their personal spiritual beliefs into
it.

How is a Christian racing league any different than a US racing league or a
Senior's racing league, etc. etc.?  Just a chance for people to do something
with similar people.  And I'd say the odds are you're less likely to get called
every word in existence that is censored in N2002 after a crash in a Christian
league.  ;)

BTW, for what it's worth, I am Christian, but unable to participate in a league
on Saturdays - bowling in the evening, GPL league in the afternoon.  :)

Well alot of interesting comments about this and I can say I race in this
league and Founded the league and do believe that it was directed by God.
You can say what you want call us what you want. Wacko, goof, whatever you
like. It wont change a thing. We race, have fellowship with other believers,
and have non believers like yourself in the league. What you say or think
will not change the fact that Jesus is Lord and One day every knee will bow
and every tounge confess that HE is Lord of Lords and King of Kings. Oh yeah
and you will do likewise
God Bless,

yeah I would expect the flaming to be a-lot more inspired.  Maybe we
should send John Simmons there for some 'instructions.'
The Christian aspect is no different than any other league of RAcarians or
seniors or SuperSpeedway adicts.  They are just another group of racers.  I
suspect the reaction some of us have shown here today is one of slight and I
do mean slight paranoia of religion invading our personal space.  Feel lucky
they are advertising for a crashers/wreckers league.
Good luck with your group fellas.  Enjoy...that is what sim racing is for
isn't it?
