Rally Champ Car setup question

Can someone please tell me how to best use the car setup options in
RC? What situations should I use hard/soft tires, heavy/light
suspension, high/low suspension and so on? If it's in the user manual
I couldn't find it, feel free to refer me to a page number if I missed
something. Thanks!

There's a FAQ coming up on www.simracingnews.com. At the moment it's
only mentioned on the site, and the faq itself is not uploaded yet,
but I hope it has got some info about the setups.

Basic set up rules, and if RC is a SIM it will abid by these rules :-)

Tires, pretty obvious really, soft is more grip, hard last longer, so on
a long tarmac stage, use a harder compound, on a short gravel/mud stage,
use a softer compound, and some variations thereof

Suspension, the bumpier the stage, the softer the suspension, but you
need to compensate for this with increasing the ride height to avoid
"bottoming out" the suspension, you will always want the car as low as
possible, but you have to compromise this if you soften up the
suspension, so for a smoothe tarmac stage, drop the car all the way down
and put on the hardest shocks/springs, on a bumpy forest section, soften
it up and increase the ride height

Don't have the game in front of me right now so I can't remember "all"
the options (all 6 of them that is :-) , but the steering and gearing
bit is pretty obvious I guess, can't for the life of me remember the
last setting though...

Beers and cheers
