Don't bother wasting your time on Eidos' Power F1, you'll just have to
delete it from your hard drive soon enuf. I felt that the graphics in
SVGA mode were good eye candy, but the car control is very poor. The
major hang up is that there is a huge dead zone around the center of the
steering, which causes minor adjustments of your steering wheel to go
unnoticed by the game. THIS IS NOT HOW GRAN PRIX CARS REACT. Might be
ok with keyboard though.
I had another setup problem with the game which caused me not to get too
far into it. When I press the brake, the car accelerates. I have
tried this game with both the T1 wheel and MS sidewinder pro joystick.
On both, the control setup didn't work properly and I had no brakes.
This combined with the steering problem keeps me from commenting on the
other car's AI. I couldn't get near them without hitting them;-)
