Papyrus has confirmed the departure of three employees, two of whom resigned and one of whom was fired. Producer
Charley Bandes and Director J.R. Surprenant resigned from Papyrus, which is a division of Sierra Sports. In an unrelated
development, Mike Lescaut, director of business development, was fired.

Sean Gleason, director of marketing at Sierra Sports, released a statement that said, "The timing of these employees
departures was not simultaneous and the departure of three individuals over a short period of time was coincidental." The
statement further read: "The Papyrus development division has undergone considerable change over the last six months
as Sierra Sports prepares for the future of its motorsports strategy. While we will miss the talents and contributions of the
valued employees that have resigned recently, it will have no impact on our development activities at Papyrus."

The Boston-based Papyrus is currently developing Grand Prix Legends and NASCAR Racing 3. According to Sierra
Sports, the core Papyrus team remains in place, including designer Dave Kaemmer.

Well it looks like doodoo to me at 1280x1024.  I think it has to do with the way
your newsreader wraps incoming text rather than your screen resolution.

You obviously believe that organisations that employ people and pay them
a wage or salary for productive output are really charities....is that
correct?

Not sure where you are headed with that comment Bruce, your reading
way to much into my comment.  I was wondering if a few people might
want to comment on the status of GPL or Sierra based on the original
post, and I doubted they would actually comment. Please note the ":)"
in my post. Lighten up a bit, dude.

BTW, how did you get the "charities" thing from my comment, just curious?

: That they should continue to employ somebody when (a) that person is not
: worth employing, for whatever reason, or (b) the company is
: restructuring and that person is no longer needed (redundancy).

Wow, believe me, you read way too much into my comment, I know zero
details of the shakeup, sounds like a touchy topic though. Was
just wondering if an "insider" would like to comment, though I
doubt in such a forum, thus the ":)", that's all.

Must be because it looked perfect here. A pleasantly efficient use of space I thought! :))
