Mplayer has races. Every time I've logged on there I've gotten some
racing in. The game does have warping issues, and unfortunately they
are forward/backward moreso than side to side, so they can bite you if
you are in close quarters with another car.
However, I agree with you about the game. It's definitely more
realistic than CPR or TOCA 2. (I.e. it has a reasonable physics
model).
