NASCAR 2: 8 PLAYER ON KALI???

Will the 8 player IPX work over kali?  I don't like Nascar much but I
would learn to if I could play it 8 player without upgrading from my
28.8 modem.  8 human opponents drafting each other and bumping fenders
on that 1/2 mile track would be great.

I've been told by my internet provider
that it will work. I think you need to download
the multi player software from the papyrus
group.

Then you should try Hawaii out.  Up to 32 to 36 racers at one time.
It's wild.

After running Nascar 1 with Kali for a week, I think it's safe to
say that Nascar 2 will work with Kali -- the question is, how well?

Nascar 1 is only good with Kali if both players have fast internet
connections.  Some of the best races I have had are with Rolf Flisberg.
He lives in Sweden and I live in Indiana.  It will be possible for
Nascar 2 to be played over the internet with Kali but your enjoyment
of it may be diminished depending on the quality of you ISP.

Nascar 2 should work very great with 8 players it you can find enough
people on your local ISP to play.  The quality of the connection
there should equal what we see on Hawaii.  As soon as you add players
from other ISP's though, the quality will suffer.

You can find out how well Kali works now by visiting:

It will tell you how to set up Kali and Nascar 1.  Download a copy of
Kali, log on to the "Where to Race" server, and try it out.
