rec.autos.simulators

After buying a new, larger monitor, I found ICR2 to be enjoyable again,
but now I can't get the game to save/utilise the control settings for my
CH Virtual Pilot Pro and CH Pedals....the config screen seems to work
just fine, recognizing separate axes, etc., but when I get onto the
track, the controls are reset to the game defaults. This is true even if
I save a config-file and then load it into the game via the config
screen.
What am I doing wrong?
My system now is AMD K6II-350, Voodoo2 (8 MEG ),and the above mentioned
controllers.
Any suggestions on what to do or where to look for a cure are gratefully
accepted.

I don't know for sure that it will work, (since I personally haven't had to
deal with this problem), but you might try setting the config file to read-only
before you load it into the game.
