I think you're talking about the building (Hotel?) at the adenau bridge,
just before exmulhe maybe?

| Besides the castle on the long straight, there is another white castle
| like fortification. It is hard for me to explain where it is since I
| dont know any of the corners, but the best I can describe it is to the
| left when you go over a small bridge thingy I am guessing. It is a
| tight left hand turn with white bariers on either side.
|
| Just imagine that you are making your way through the tight track
| surrounded by bushes on either side. You know the one, with the tight
| chicanes so to speak. Well, the castle is to the left of the second
| left hand turn after the series of esses surrounded by the bushes.
|
| Hop[e that helps, though it probably doesnt.

I have a shot here taken a one of the pre-war german GPs...it shows an Auto
Union in the North Curve and, in the background, the castle.  So it should
be blatantly obvious at that point in the sim.

Is this the building that looks as if it's undergoing renovation to be an IHOP?

Hey, we should have a ras (European branch) meeting at the Ring.
I'd love to be part of that...

(Of course, if some rich guy overseas wants to jump in a plane,
he'd be welcome too! ;^)

A very good idea!

Hehe, you don't have to live overseas, just to come down from the middle part
of Norway would be expensive enough :)

if it's suppose to be a castle it's the smallest I've ever seen!

It's in the back of my mind as well for next summer.  It's but a short
drive from where I am in Switzerland.

True.  I wanted to visit a friend in Bergen, until I saw the
prices.  Instead I told her how brilliant the skiing is here until she
came to visit me.

Spa is only just down the road from ring (well about 50 km) but every time
I've tried to visit it the public roads round the track have been shut as
there were race meetings on : (

I have created a cam file that allows you to see the castle
from the long straight at Doettinger Hoehe.
Let me know if I should mail it to you.
You *should* also be able to see the castle BIG
in front of you at the Nordkurve, but Papyrus strangely
didn't put it in there!!
