I saw at the Electronic Boutique in Burnaby, that Indycar II is supposed
to come out November first....I guess that is an old release date??

One other question, Is Indycar II only going to come out on CD?

Yes, IndyCar Racing II will only be available on CD. (Even compressed it
would require 12 floppies, so it's not economical for us to produce it on
floppy disk.)

I don't know where the retailers get their dates, as we haven't given any
release date to *** Interactive, our exclusive distributor. Note: that
doesn't necessarily mean we're late; we're just holding our cards close to
the chest.

Question:
Why do software companies promote so long before the product is ready?
It is less of a buzz and more of a whine.  After such a build-up
(sometimes years) the product can't help but be disappointing.  Two or
three months is one thing, but I think Vaporware actually angers a lot
of people.
