  Well, I enjoy F1GP, ICR1, ICR2, and Nascar. As for GP2, yes,
I'm sure I'll probably buy, play and enjoy it but I doubt if
I'll set it up as a shrine and pray to it the way you are
before you've even seen it.
As for the ICR2 die-hards flocking to buy it, they'll
probably be too busy flocking to buy Quake!! :)

                                         Later...

I'll assume when you say non-americans you mean U.S.of America.
Canada and Mexico are part of America too and I think most of their
racing fans would disagree with you.  As much as I don't like to admit
it, I live in the good ol' usa and I think nascar is on the same level
as wrestling.  F1 is the best.  The best combo of car and driver wins.
If the leader gets a lap ahead of the second place guy it won't be
flushed down the toilet because some backmarker spins off the track.
I'm sure there is a thread lik this running through r.a.s.f1/indy/etc.
Join in, it's the off season.

I disagree.  The driver must be good certainly, but even Shu couldn't
take Tyrell or Ligier to the championship.  The car has to be top notch
first, then a great driver must drive it to get a championship or a win.
Too often it turns out to be a lap of hard driving followed by (almost
inevitiably) by a parade.

Several and please don't.  This topic is really meant for simulators and
it's *never* the off season in simulator land...

his american made chevy to start:

> >me the car kinda....rotates on the spot you know.

> Again only non-americans think F1 is the greatest racing championship

Born in europe, raised since 3.5 in america, and i LOVE F1
A bunch of cousin screwing hicks driving in a circle. THATS real fun to
watch, the reason the cars are so close is becuase its a BLEEDIN' CIRCLE

Probably will be, weieng as how Geoff ALWAYS makes the products that sweep
the cometitors under the carpet. And he refuses to buckle under time
constraints and compromise the perfection of GP2, and i respect that more
than if he ha relesed is already and it had lots of bugs, liek a certan ICR2.
I agree, but no persons taste can silence the technical superiority factor
(and i dont know which game will be better, but personal tase can never
fight technical superiority thta for sure)

Ciao!

>: That you don't like the game ( because your playing on a 286 12MHz
>: machine ) is allright with me, but don't start telling stupid things like

hate to interupt this flame war here, but I think they both have their good
points.  I think ICR2 does a better job of SIMULATING the real indycars,
and I like the competitiveness of indycar racing.  But F1GP is a great game
anyways, even IF it doesn't do as good a job with the sim area of things.

I play both ICR2 and Need for Speed, the first because I liek the realistic
challenge, and the latter for just sheer imposible fliping fun.
