NH puzzling drivers.txt behaviour

Hi RASers,

I have NH set up with this season's drivers and cars in order to run my
2001 season.  I have everything matched up pretty well, there are no generic
white cars, and only a smattering of black driver heads.

There is one puzzling thing about the season's drivers lineup.  There
are two Steve Parks. Two #1 Pennzoil MOnte Carlos, etc.

I thought for sure I had accidentally duplicated his listing in the
drivers.txt file, but that is not the case.  Then I thought I might have
accidentally given his car skin the name of another driver when packing it
into the paint.res file.  Then I thought that the game was reading the 01
car listing as the 1 car.  Nope. That's not the case, either.

I am at a loss to explain why the game put in two of him.  To make
matters worse, he is very close to himself in the points standings, and
regularly starts within a position or two of himself on the starting grid.
It is quite disconcerting to be "three wide" with the same car on either
side of you.

Any possible explanations for this anomaly?

Well, I solved it by downloading the spectacular new 2001 WC carset from
high-compression.  The excess Steve Park has gotten in his spaceship and
gone back to planet X.

Good call R.A.
