CJ,

nice to see you on this newsgroup, too! Does this have anything to do
with the next simulation project from your team ;) ?

The vehicles in CJ's sims DO HAVE wings, but
they are not cars... ;^)

Damn, I'm craving for an A10 sim! SCNR

Your mouse has moved. Windows must be restarted for the change
to take effect. Reboot now?

Yeah, but these are rumors/facts I picked up:

CJ's team next project is a simulation for EA sports.

EA wasn't pleased with ISI's effort on F1-2000, and will do the sequal
"inhouse"

CJ is posting here....

Except High Gear (simracingnews.com) is reporting that ISI is looking for
additional programmers and graphic artists to beef up their effort on their
F1-2001 title...

I'm a fan of many type of games; combat flight sims, racing sims and crpg's
to name a few genres. I tend to be in lurk-only mode on the non flight sim
groups however. Since someone mentioned the flight sim group over here, I
thought I'd chime in with my $.02.

As for the future, as usual, I have no comment. :-)

It's nice to see 'CJ the player' instead of 'CJ the sim designer' once
in a while. I guess any game creator must also be an enthusiastic game
player in order for his creations to succeed.

As for the future, I really didn't expect an answer, I was just teasing
;).

Thanks Gregor. My online presence predates my entry in to the computer game
biz by several years. While most of my...umm...passion has been focused on
my first love (combat flight simulations), I'm also proud to call myself a
charter member of the rec.aviation.military.naval newsgroup. As plastic
models is another of my hobbies, I spend a fair amount of time lurking in
the rec.models.scale newsgroup as well. Usenet is a powerful thing, and not
all of the groups have devolved to the level that the flight-sim group seems
to have.

As a game developer, I also find it informative to cruise the game
newsgroups from time to time to gain insights into the mood of the online
crowd in the various genres.

Trying to figure out what the Baltimore teams next project is seems to be a
pretty popular pasttime. :-)
