GPL Question on length

GPL Question on length

by Ryan Murra » Mon, 08 Feb 1999 04:00:00

Hi there, I have had GPL now for sometime and enjoy races on GPL Server
Locator and VROC, but I have come to a problem.

Before I had changed a file in order to have longer replay buffers...saving
the whole race at Spa was nice, but now I think GPL SL replaces the file
each time. I lost that line to change the buffer, so if someone could help
me and please post where and what to do, I would be thankful.

Another question. I love racing Spa, Monza, The Glen, etc...but I hate the
lengths of the races...how do I change it? Say I want to race 10 laps at Spa
with Intermediate Damage? What file do I change? What do I change in that
file?

Thanks in advance...

I know what you mean.  I hate only running a hundred laps at the Glen.
Wish I could lengthen it to something that would last 24 hours.  I mean,
the GP practice is two one hour sessions and the race it self is just a
bit longer then that.  If I'm going to practice for two hours I want
that to mean something.

Just my $0.02 worth;-)

It does...it means that you have dual two-hour periods during which you
can fiddle with car setups, practise and set a qualifying time.

You do not HAVE to use the entire 4 hours driving the car!!!  You CAN
fast-forward.

Hehehe....that's good Bruce....like you go to practice without having
your set-ups fully under control after weeks in "Training".  |o)
