New Daytona AI Sucks!!!!!!!

I downloaded the New Daytona from alt.binaries.games last night and
raced a few thousand laps and did accelerated time to watch the AI
cars go at it.  I can't believe how crappy the AI cars run on this
track!!!!  The cars stay two wide as if they are running an accelerate
pace lap.  There is NO passing what-so-ever, let alone THREE-WIDE!!!!
And what really gets me is the way the cars leave the pits....They cut
right out onto the track into traffic causing the entire field to slam
on the brakes HARD!!!!!!!  I hope that there is some LP guru out there
that already has it in the works to fix these problems.  It would suck
to wait this long (since Nascar1) for the greatest nascar track and
have to deal with the dumbest AI drivers ever to show themselves on a
Papy track.  Thanks for letting me vent....

I noticed.  I was following another car into that turn when a car
moved off the apron right in front of us.  The car in front of me
braked but I didn't   Crash, bang, boom, cuss, cuss.  But I'm sure
that given a few days a fix will be out there...

Yea I'll agree that the AI does suck...but its no worse than the original
Talladega AI.  No 3 wide racing, next to zero pasing...but theres new AI for
that that really is quite good so theres plenty of hope.  FWIW i ran an IROC
race at Daytona tonight and there was actually quite a bit of passing (though
it was kinda predictable).
