I guess I shouldn't have bragged about getting it before it dissappeared!! I
have been flooded with requests for it. I don't care about sending it, I just
don't have the time to send it to everyone!! If someone is willing to put it
on ftp somewhere, then whoever wants it could get it there. I really don't
want to be the one who mass distributes this. Please don't request it from

I've got the re-worked Dega to Daytona track. Nothing new.

Yea,
Reworked Taladega. Thats all the Pits was doing with it. Nothing new,
nothing illegal, nothing to worry about !!! Your game, your property, your
business!!!
Now the game is complete !!! Except for tweaking the track.txt a bit !!
Better than nothin !! Now where is it ?? :)

I hardly think so - The PITS was doing a massive rewrite to create an Official
DAYTONA track - just check out their screenshots - oops - the bastards at
Daytona 9and probably SEGA) made they take it all down....
too bad - once again we fall victim to corporate giants and their political B.S.
The Pits where NOT doing any official Daytona Patch !! They where probably
going to do the best job of REWORKING Talladega, but by far an OFFICIAL
Daytona..
With there skill though, it would probably have beeen as good as an
official version.

Perhaps if you were just to place it in alt.binaries.games then the masses
that are looking for it will have some place to find it. I know that I would

Ya know, it's dumb ass's like this that will keep all of us from having
Daytona someday. Waist your money on a piece of crap, hacked job of
Daytona, and ruin it for the rest of us.

Wise up idiots. Sega has the rights to Daytona until April. After that, ISC
will make the decision on who gets the rights. Think about this--NASCAR
(which ISC is a subsidiary of) is already involved with Papyrus through NRL,
and the REAL Daytona track already exists at Daytona USA. I know that doesn't
mean that Papyrus will get the rights to release the Daytona track, but you
can be DAMN sure that they won't if hacked imitations keep appearing on the
net!!!
So, can the imitations, and have some FREAKIN' patience and we might all get
the REAL Daytona next year. DON'T***IT UP FOR THE REST OF US!!!!!
