Well,
I own two(2) 1st generation Mazda RX-7 and I can tell you,
hand on my (overspeed) heart, it's like the real thing,
the back end DOES break away on a corner if you let the
"FAST pedal" up! One of my two was rolled that very way!
(not me though I bought it off the "victim")

That's interesting - it's always felt pretty realistic to me, e.g.
being able to catch a spin etc. but I wasn't sure how much. It's a
shame as I really wanted a NSX but now I will have to buy the Supra
instead when I win the lottery as it seems much the better car in
NFS!!
