EA Shuts Down NSR Servers

I know I'm over a week behind on this bit of news, but I still find it
amusing due to the fact that Sierra's servers are still up for NR2003
after all of this time.

SimRacing Released: 2/15/05
    NR2003 Released: 2/14/03

Perhaps EA should make the decision to release NSR on the PS2/3 or
XBox/360. Maybe they could recoup some money (just a guess that it
didn't sell very well) and sell it as NASCAR 08. That, and it would
certainly be better than that steamy pile titled NASCAR 07. :)

NSR was dead on 3/15/05. Unofficially of course, but dead nonetheless.

I saw something EA 06 or 07 nascar wise, on a commercial, for playboxes
somewhere...

EA doesn't support their releases well. It is something I am aware of
when I see an EA title for sale. I think EA hires good programmers but
not racing fans to develop their titles. They are clueless as to what
makes a racing game worthwhile.

They sure know how to make bold promises about supporting it. They
just fail to actually do it.
