N1 - traction, wear settings

by Belinda S. Salm » Tue, 08 Apr 1997 04:00:00

Hi guys,

I just wanted to ask you guys a question about N1

I'm tired of getting my bum bum whipped by my bf at this game.

How can I get better traction and tire wear from the .txt file???

I want to be able to stick better and outlast him before changing my tires :)

What do I change my tire line to make my tire stick better and last longer?

Belinda

p.s. also the same question for N2 would be good as we plan to buy it soon

Sorry meant to say -  You will, by increasing traction raise the heat
some and INCREASE the wear some.

Tire settings for n1 are: 7 values (numbers) on the tire line
(left side tires)            (right side tires)
TIRES    traction - heat - wear - traction - heat - wear    0

If you increase the number you increase the traction or heat or lower
wear.  Leave the zero alone -
If you increase traction you automatically increase heat and lower
wear some.

LOL!  Yes you can change that in the track.txt file but don't know if it
will work with modem to modem or not.  I think there are some guys here
that can probably help you though from some of the post I have seen.  I
would say you should be able to lap him about 20 or 30 times. :>
