I have a probelm with the driving aids when I toggle throttle help and
braking help on off they don't work, anyone know why? Should I just
re-install?

What do you mean by dont work.  If you are expecting them to brake for you
and accelerate for you then you are wrong.  All they do is make it where you
cant spin the wheels under acceleration and you cant lock up the brakes when
you hit them.  Like Traction control and Antilock brakes.  If You know this
already then i would try a reinstall.  If not then that should clear up some
information.

They might be working. They don't take over full control of their
respective areas as such helps do in some sims/games.

In GPL throttle help just stops the rear wheels from spinning no
matter how fast you feed the power in - but you still have to operate
the throttle yourself. Likewise, the brake help just stops the wheels
from locking up, but it doesn't apply the  brakes for you - you still
have to brake yourself.
