NASCAR Mac League Interest?
I am interested in starting up and hosting a NEW racing league for
Macintosh users of NASCAR Racing from Papyrus/Sierra. If you are interested
The league will feature the most realistic racing that you can get
including weather, opponents updated weekly based on the current Winston
racing season, and multiple divisions based on skill level including:
ARCA - keyboard and joystick racers, fewer opponents and shorter
races. Setups will be standard and fixed in this division.
BGN - More competitive division with opponents set at or close to full
strength for each race. The races will be longer than ARCA division and
setups are up to you.
WC - The most competitive division. Races will be longer and opponents
are out to win the race. You will have to work hard all week to win in this
division.
The schedule would be a modified and shorten version of the Winston Cup
schedule for this year. The intention is to exactly duplicate the entire
NASCAR WC schedule. There will be races just about every week. You do not
have to race every week to remain in the league.
Scoring is still being finalized but will most likely be based on your
finish place, laps completed, and race speed. Each week1s results will be
tabulated and posted on the Internet as soon as possible after a race. Each
week you will be eMailed new driver settings for use in the upcoming race.

motivated to get the rules posted ASAP and set up everything that is needed
for sign up and results tabulation. I1m pumped up enough to have a 3Beta2
race as early as this weekend!!!
