A-lot of fellows really looked forward to that title, due to the
subject matter, mainly short track racing.  But the near instant disdain for
the product was loud.  After the first weekend of posts, I don't think I've
seen ANYone say ANYthing about it.
If you have time and money to waste, then I guess it's not that bad.
But if your simming is budgeted, then avoid avoid avoid.

Its based on the same engine that SCGT is built on. So its a little dated in
that resepect. There was some issues when it first hit, but there has since
been a patch. You might want to check the fourm over at Sim Racing
Connection.  I was reading over there about it when it first came out. If
you already have NR2002 you may be better off to by the track converter. You
will get tracks like I-70, Mesa, Greenville Pickens, etc.

Yeah....but does the "converted tracks" have the Hooters girls?

Nope!

"Hooters Pro Cup" simulation - all it needs to simulate is the Hooters girls
walking through the stands and signing autographs!  Or maybe saying, "Your
watching Hooters Pro Cup racing on the Speed Channel!"  Right, Goy?

Oh Man!

The Hooters Pro Cup race is on Speed Channel right now!  Then....they show
this 400 lb hog......serving French fries out of the "dog stand"....wearing
a fake "Hooters" T-shirt and no bra (clearly she was not wearing a
bra....probably can't find one that f'ing big).  It was not a pretty sight!
Glad I didn't have the video tape running....would've had to burn that
sucker!  Maybe I could have sent it to Goy?  I think he likes "big" girls.

I really liked SCGT but hooters procup looked and ran like complete ***to
me..nowhere near as good as SCGT.  Too bad because I was looking forward to
the small tracks.  I liked running Bowman Gray and Bristol is my favorite in
any NASCAR sim.

I can't get simracing connection's site to come up, anyone have a link for
it that functions?  I'd like to check out the patch.

thank you

IIRC That was the main problem. There was some tweaks that cleared alot of
that up, but by default it was pretty bad. I noticed that in the screen
shots that were posted. Some looked good, some like n1.
