Interview taken from crash.net

Q:
How do you expect it to do against rivals such as Richard Burns Rally and
RalliSport Challenge 2?

RT:
Well, we expect to do better than them - we think we've got the better
game - offering a proper rally experience while retaining accessibility of a
great video game.

Q:
How does CM05 differ from Richard Burns Rally and RalliSport Challenge 2?

RT:
RBR's the classic case of chasing realism at the expense of accessibility.
RSC is very much an arcade game, with circuit-based tracks and cars racing
against each other at the same time.

RBR is perfectly accessible. 6 years of GPL experience helps, obviously, but
anyone with a passion for the sport and an attention span can enjoy the game
even as they come to grips with it.

Translation of this marketing speak: CMR05 will make you look good, RBR will
show you just how ***you are. Which is true in a way, but I'd rather be
challenged than flattered.

At least Codies now somewhat admit theirs is not a simulation, which is long
overdue.

I have a buddy who never touch a racing game and wheel on pc, NEVER. I made
him bough a wheel and he is totally hook now. The level of realism make you
really appreciate the sim even tho it is hard. Abviously he finds it hard
but he is enjoying it very much.

I can't see a difference between playing CMR04 and 05.

Andi.

04 was quite different to 03 - they dumbed down the handling to allow for
more eye-candy.
