- IL-2 Sturmovik joke 'hate' post and off-topic chat 2001-12-06 · 111 postsMorgan Boof jokingly 'blamed' Andre Warringa for getting him hooked on the IL-2 Sturmovik flight sim demo. Sim racers discussed IL-2, flight-sim controllers and pedal drivers, and took jabs at Ubisoft over the unreleased F1 Racing Championship patch. The thread wandered into Tolkien, Kubrick, Star Wars and Monty Python, with condolences for a member's bereavement.
- Opinions on Microsoft, Logitech and other force-feedback wheels 1999-04-03 · 24 postsA UK buyer asked which force-feedback wheel to choose. Opinions ranged from Eric Busch's view that every FF wheel on the market felt poor mechanically to strong recommendations of the Logitech wheel, with the Microsoft wheel described as accurate but notchy and the Saitek R4 offered cheaply refurbished. Most agreed only Viper Racing currently used FF well, and a side argument arose over whether GPL's steering is oversensitive.
