It's an alpha test, but if you're feeling lucky, play around with it.

An explanation of what this program is/does can be found in the
online Reference Guide (the link for the description is at the bottom
of the table of contents).

The program is available at the bottom of the "Downloads" page.

"This new module allows a client/driver to create multiple personalities"

Scary stuff John, I think we have enough already on RAS :)

It's been updated to support No-CD patched/renamed copies of the
NR2003.exe file, as well as a "Clone" button.

I downloaded and installed PlayerPicker. I have filled in all the fields.
When I choose "Launch Sim" the games starts and the mouse clicks
"Multiplayer" and then nothing happens, it does not advance.
I'm running a P3 1gig, 512mb ram, G4 4200ti, sound blaster live with Windows
98SE.
It does go to the correct series and multiplayer in that series but nothing
more.

Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Larry

Sweet program, John!  I'm informing my league racers about it, so that
hopefully they will always show up in the correct car number. :):)

I wrote it for that very reason - participation in multiple racing
environments where they may not be able to race with the same car
number.

The addition of several add-on series mods kinda forced me to write
it a little sooner than I had planned.

I also llearned some stuff about the sim that may fix a few of the
little problems in D3... :)

That would be cool!  Maybe I can start using D3 again. <g>

Nice program John. Is there any way to point it at my two installs of
Nascar? I have one install for TransAm and one for the cup and trucks. ATM
it only sees my TransAm install.

Technically, I can make that change, but it seems kinda pointless to
me just to support a beta mod for a month or two...

If it were me, I would rename the sim folder so that the cts/bgn
install was seem by D3PP, and run the trans-am mod from an
alternative NR2K3 shortcut.
