To fix the generic car problem (for now) do this:
1) Make a list of the cars that have generic for the last few races.
2) Load those replays into a hex text editor and look for the popel that
are in generic cars. Finddm out what the name of the car file is that
they used (it's easy to spot).
3) Find that driver's existing car file on your system, and change the
name to what they used last time.
Chances are then pretty good that you'll have few (if any) generic cars
in the next race. I've been doing this for a few months and I rarely
see generic cars in the race session.
