At least I gave it a shot though... :)
For some reason, after upgrading my system, GPL started showing
momentary stutter pauses, even if I didn't use the enhanced
car/wheel/track graphics. It even does it in replays. I can't use the
OpenGL patch because the screen just goes black, so I'm stuck on D3D.
You'd think that with an AMD 1ghz and a radeon 8500, the performance
thing wouldn't be an issue.
And like Toney said, my Nascar ***ion is a redneck thing (and you
guys always knew I harbored a not-so-secret love of stockcar racing).
It would be really nice to have more road courses for the Papy Nascar
sims. Finally having Riverside (N3/NL) was GREAT, but nobody has
provided a conversion for that track. I just hope that Dave Noonan et
al will release the various GPL tracks for NR2k2 as they finish them
instead of holding back.
