First of all, this is a long drawn out process, so you must use patience, it
does work.

1. Open the driver you are going to make availabe in the opponent manager.

2. Write down the driver ratings from the ratings page

3. Write down the Bio information such as Sponsor and Team.

4. Go into paint shop and export both the car and team sections to your hard
drive and name them something that you will remember.

4. Exit the game and go to the folder where you have the game installed. The
cars are located in Nascar 4\Series\Cup\Cars.
As an example, we will use the first car in the list, Steve Park. His
car file name is 1_s_park.cup.car, for now just remember the 1_s_park part.
You can safely delete this file now, because the one you are going to
create in a moment will take it's place. If you want to reinstall the
originals, all you will have
to do, is copy them from the CD to the same folder on your Hard Drive.

5. Now, back into the game we go and back to Opponent Manager. Create a new
driver and use the filename = 1_s_park chasis = Chevy and click ok

6. Enter the Bio information you copied from the original.

7. Go into the driver ratings and adjust them to match the original ones
that you wrote down.

8. Go into paint shop and import the car and team picture that you saved
earlier. The names don't matter in-game. As long as you can find it and
import it to your
new driver the game will do the rest. Make sure you save the changes in
Paint Shop. It will ask you before you leave it.

9. If all went well, You should now see the original paint job in the Bio
area. Click Save here and the name will be added to the list of available
drivers on the left.
You can mark the new driver as active.

Now, all you have to do to run this car and driver online is going into the
player information area from the main screen and the Steve Park car will be
available. Whoever you race against online will see whatever they have on
their system as the 1_s_park.cup.car

Task Accomplished!

The only draw back to this method is that you won't get the Official Nascar
Driver picture in the Bio area. I would hope that NRHQ or some other program
will come out latter allowing us to change this, but in my opinion, it's
only cosmetic anyway.

Is there or will there be a better way to do this?  If I read the info below
this will take hours apon hours to do. yes? Maybe a programer can add
all of the 2001 drivers in a fix'patch via export-import or something?
Just thinking aloud everyone... Cheers Thom_j.
