I've recently completed an e-mail championship race with a buddy, and
unlike winning solo in GP1, there was no congratulatory animation
played at the end of my 1st place season.

Anybody know what the restrictions are to get the carrot?  Do you have
to play without a second human driver/player?  We were set at ace
level, the only thing we had was damage realism turned off.

Any chance I can play the files somehow manually?

If I remember correctly (I stopped using the CD almost as soon as I got
the game) the animations in GP2 were rather bland compared to GP1 anyway.
GP1s intro sequence, crash animation etc. were quite impressive when I
first saw them in '93 or so.  The slide montage in GP2, the stills, the
poor championship animation all left me rather flat.  I would love to see
them pay a little cash to put a nice intro etc. back into their next
version.  i find I often sit through the intros to various games (MGPRS,
CMR, NFS, GT etc.) just because they are so good, and set the modd.

I love the intro to N2.  Some really good nascar footage in there.
