The voice overlay in F1 2002 for Melbourne tells us that the GP track
has not a single 90 degree or hairpin corners. Well it might be
acurate if you use a potractor, but I would believe at least three
corners would be within a few degrees!!! And whilst you are staring at
the track view whilst waiting for it to load I abuse him every time!!

And if thats about all I can fault the sim on, then i'm well satified.

On the subject. What is actually happening when a track is loaded. I
presume each of the relevent bitmaps are being extracted. I wonder
then in this case when you exit the track and then race there again,
why those relevent bmps arent still loaded and we have to hear all
about the absencse of 90 degree corners again. Could the game
developers keep the last track loaded as a default.!!

I think I have more reason to be annoyed because that's the precise
moment it CTD's when I select race.

Hopefully a patch will address this as I don't seem to be the only
one suffering this problem.

Cheers,
Rod.

Hi Glenn,

But then he's right - it's not a single 90o corner, there are three of them!

Dear ISI,

In reference to my previous email, could you please issue a patch
that integrates all of the features of F1 2002 into a Papyrus-like
interface?  An integrated replay, race control, garage, options, and
race information interface would be great.  It's really annoying to
have to leave the track to change game options.  This would also
hopefully take care of those fussy replay and muddled garage
interfaces you seem so fond of.

Thanks,

Jason

I hate that too, both the guy blabbing about no 90 degree-ers, and the
'not-loading-the-last-track' thing.

I miss Jims voice from F1 2001. Who is that peeler doing the voice overs
at the start of the race?
