Got the book (author Nigel Roebuck) for Xmas and began reading it
today. In the Imola chapter, (top of pg. 22) he mentions that in 1996,
Max Mosley wanted to remove what he called "life threatening corners"
from the F1 tracks. He claimed that there were 16 of them.
Does anyone know what they were and what the outcome of his decision
was? Obviously chicanes abound now, both in older tracks and in new
designs.
