Just got my "Popular Science" mag in the mail yesterday and on page 18
of "What's New' they show a screen shot of a sim that they say will
be coming out soon.
Heres the caption to the screen shot:
"COMING TO A MALL near you: a racing simulator that pits you against
the sport's top drivers. Climb into a full-size Pontiac Grand Prix on a
motion platform, and you're off. The car has realistic steering, pedals,
and controls. the windshield is the visual display. the platform provides

Of course the web page doesn't exist yet so thats no help.
The screen shot point of view is from the center of the car looking
straight out, not from the drivers perspective. Shows some nice
shadowing on the dash and dials. On the track to the left is the
MBNA 22 and to the right is the Hooters #1. Detail is really high
in the grandstand area and on the corporate suites it sez "Winston
Cup Series".
Wonder if this is will cause some conflict between Papy/Sierra and
NASCAR? Any body know more about this company?
