Hi Mike,

I've been on the Zone, and still find CPR lacking as a sim.  No full
course yellows, missing tire temps (best way to see how your setup will
hold up), and poor AI...The list goes on.

I'm sure that many of apparent problems with CPR are a matter of taste,
but a lack of the above-mentioned features only keeps CPR from being an
honest_to_goodness sim IMHO.

No witch_hunt, just the facts man.  ;)

Cheers!

Marc

Actually, slamming is cool if it is warranted. In CPR's case
it is :-)

Oh, SHIT!  I just checked my shortcut and it was pointing to "diddykong.exe"!
WTF?  I switched it to "f1voo.exe", and what can I say?  F1RS rocks!

<snip>

Yeah, that's what I thought about the***pits; even though they went to
the trouble to make them all different, I thought they looked pretty
cheesy-
until I found***pit pictures in my '96 Autocourse annual of the
Ferrari,
Sauber, and Jordan.  They are really pretty accurate.  Of course they
did
add in the damage indicator lcd, and each team's logo, and not everybody
has the redline leds on the to top of the dash(Schumacher's is on his
steering wheel).  But everything else in the F1RS***pit is in the
actual
***pit, in about the same location - given the limitations imposed by
the extra items they added.  I do like that the F1RS***pit doesn't
take
up a lot of the screen.
